Emergency Medicine Attending, Northwell Health Emergency Medicine Residency, LIJ campus New Hyde Park NY. Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine, Zucker School of Medicine at North Shore/LIJ
As of July 15th, 2020 I came full circle, returning to the program he graduated from (or the forge where I was made) in 1999- the Northwell Health E,mergency Medicine Residency. I currently work there as a full time Emergency Physician at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center Campus> I am also a Assistant Clinical Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Prior to this I had worked at the Moses campus of Montefiore Medical center gpt 18 (except for one year-see below) This is one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the country, a teaching affiliate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and staffed by some of the most wonderful people any Emergency Physician has ever had the privilege to work with.
The one year I mentioned above was between 2008-2009,where I served as the Director of Clinical Operations at Nassau University Medical Center.
Prior to all of the above before coming back to New York after graduation my first job out of residency was as an Attending Physician and Assistant Clinical Professor for the Yale New Haven Health System at Bridgeport Hospital.
At many of the above facilities I have won numerous awards as both a teacher and mentor- and am eternally grateful and honored by all of you responsible for that over the years.
I graduated from the combined Emergency Medicine/ Internal and Emergency Medicine at North Shore LIJ in 1999 and am currently boarded in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine and am a fellow of both the American Colleges of Emergency Physicians (FACEP) and the American College of Physicians (FACP). He has been a practicing ED attending for 28 years.
